Want to read more, faster, and with better comprehension? Don't want
to do Speed Reading? Want to spend only one second per page and be able
to access it all?
If you can suspend disbelief in
the unusual, this amazing method may be for you. The foundation of this
system is that our subconscious takes in absolutely everything we see, even if
we don't consciously notice it. Get this - this is so cool, I find it
easiest to PhotoRead a book upside down and backwards!
First I read the PhotoReading
book, then I did the home study course, and then I went to the workshop.
If I hadn't been impressed with the book, I wouldn't have gotten the home
study course nor would I have gone to the workshop. Did I need to do all
these methods, no, probably not, but I think I got more by doing each method.
I liked learning about the method and practicing before I went. This
worked well for me because I had already gone through the mental adjustments
it took to believe in the method and had practiced on my own. At the
workshop, I got to focus on my technique rather than struggle with the idea
that this method really could work. Some of our class was debating
whether it could work rather than just practicing and making it work. And it
does take work and it does take a lot of practice to do it automatically,
which our instructor warned us at the workshop.
Does PhotoReading work? Yes.
Do I recommend it? Yes. This is the closest to real magic that
most of us will come.
Do I use it? Only
occasionally. My big hurdle, still, is that I like looking at the words
on a page. But after meeting a woman who used it to study for her bar
exam, I have started again, if only to go through all of those books waiting
on my shelves.
As a side note: PhotoReading
combines really well with mind mapping note taking techniques.
To learn more about PhotoReading
read the book, take the home study course, or the go to the workshop.
